Promotional products, corporate gift Los Angeles.
Bryan Chesters is the owner of Let’s Party LA Entertainment. He shares with us the promotional item that he did in the beginning of the pandemic that was thoughtful, incredibly timely and useful.
Please tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hi, my name is Brian Chesters and I am a DJ, MC and Entertainer. And I am also the owner of Let’s Party LA entertainment. We are a DJ MC company in Los Angeles, California, where we recently won the California Wedding Day Best DJ in Los Angeles 2022.
What type of promotional products did you order? Do you have a favorite or “go to” promo item for your business and industry?
I ordered the face masks with my own branding, Let’s Party LA with our logo and it was at the beginning of COVID, and it was a perfect gift for my clients and also just to promote my company and help everybody out because we all needed masks and sadly, now that we’ve had more outburst of COVID, I’ve actually been using the masks again. So there you go, it’s a great product.
Tell us about your goals and priority of your project/campaign.
I would say this product obviously was the most beneficial at the beginning of COVID in 2020. And it was a wonderful thing. I sent them to all my friends in several networking groups I belong to. And I think just by them wearing them out in public, it made awareness of my company and it was also a thoughtful gift.
What was your method in searching for your promotional product?
I didn’t do too much research on this product, I knew I wanted to get some face masks. I like the colors black and red and I already have my logo. I knew Garuda Promo and Swire Ho from a networking group I belong to years ago. I completely trusted him and I referred him to several of my clients. It’s a great product and a great company
Did you find the promotional products you were looking for? What other challenges did you encounter?
The whole process was super simple. I told him what I wanted, we put the order in and it came within weeks after ordering, and it was wonderful.
How did you make the decision on this promotional products for the project?
I made the decision on this particular promotional product because, as I have mentioned, it was beginning of COVID, everyone was in need of masks. My partner and I only had a red and blue bandana, we looked like old-timey cowboy gangsters when we went shopping at local Ralphs! Once we received our products, it was such a nicer atmosphere for the people that we encounter.
Tell us about the result of the project. Are you happy with the outcome on your ROI? Do you feel that you have achieved your goals with these products?
Yeah, I was very happy with the outcome especially the friends that I had sent the masks to. It was during the holiday time. They were so appreciative. And then people took pictures of themselves, wearing the mask and post it on social media, which only added to more promotion of my company. So it was a really great investment.
What advice would you like to share with people who are interested to order promotional products?
I guess the best advice I would give to people is find something unique that shows your logo, something that people actually need and make sure it’s within your budget and you can order as many that make sense for your particular goal in your company. I don’t remember exactly how many masks I ordered. I know there were hundreds and it was perfect. They were just enough for everybody that I wanted to send to plus my own stash and I would bring them to the gym and people would want them. It was great. And as I mentioned already, Swire is an amazing person and very easy to deal with the whole ordering experience was very easy and I would consider ordering this promo material again. Sadly, we are still in need of it due to COVID or OMICRON! Hopefully we will be out of the woods soon so we can go back to ordering water bottles or other fun things.
