Case study about promotional product gift sets to show employee appreciation.
Big picture: A tech client has an internal mentoring program that has been working quite well. They would like to boost the momentum and engage the employees by sending a thank you gift to all the mentors in the program. The client would like the gift to be memorable and also provide tools for future mentoring sessions.
Project: Internal communication and employee appreciation for a tech client.
Client Brand Identity: Contemporary, aspirational, design-savvy, urban, street smart
Our process: Our client is a tech company with staff all over the US. They wanted to send out a thank you gift for the employees that are part of a mentorship program that has been running successfully for the past year. The items would include a stationary office itema name brand if possible. We suggested Moleskine, legendary notebook brand from Italy. With its elegant design, quality craftsmanship, a branded Moleskine notebook seems to fit the bill. In addition, we suggest the client to include a note with a thank you message, to make the gift extra special. In order to provide the mentors some tools, we also printed a set of laminated cards with key points of the program. A branded notebook is also lightweight to mail, so the total postage cost was within budget. A matte black bubble mailer was the elegant package that holding the items all together.
Campaign Success: It created a lot of good will and increased engagement and morale. All the mentors who received the custom Moleskine notebook gift sets were grateful and excited. The laminated cards have proved to be very useful reminders for the key ideas of the program. The fulfillment and shipping was without a glitch. Using the padded envelope instead of a box was very effective in keeping the shipping costs within budget.
